--12:13 pm - By Michael Baron
Bindview Development Corp. (BVEW: news, msgs) is diving 2 13/16, or 24.2 percent, to 8 13/16. The Houston, Texas, provider of information management products reported second-quarter net income of $529,000, or 1 cent a share, up from last year's equivalent profit of $48,000, but below First Call's average estimate of 3 cents a share. Revenue rose to $20.4 million in the latest three months from $15.5 million in the same period a year earlier. The results prompted CIBC World Markets to cut its rating on BindView's stock to "hold" from "buy."
