Grace: I agree with you that management by committee is a bad thing, and that's what ATHM had prior to T taking over recently. I think that management has improved, but it not great, since T aggressively starting controlling ATHM. As for C&C's representation on the board, I don't know for sure, but when one party controls the board they usually don't care too much who the other directors are. You're correct that T controlling the board won't force Cox and Comcast to do anything that they don't want to do as cable companies; but C&C won't be able to for ATHM to do anything either. If/when C&C's interests diverge from T, we'll worry about it then. As for now, it doesn't seem like they are upgrading / installing slower than T.
