yep, that quote is a classic.... i know about that recent paper...note however that it is not quite clear why these papers are written at all...their conclusions are studiously ignored with mindnumbing regularity. that said, not all the Fed governors are new paradigmers...but it's Greenjeans who has the last word. i don't for a second believe that he was pushed into the 1/2 point hike last time around by the conservatives on the board. this was quite normal procedure for a tightening cycle. the only thing that's not normal is really how they're pussyfooting about with their ludicrous baby step hikes and the massive liquidity injections through the back door, all in the name of keeping the bubble afloat...
