Kemble, Let's see Jim Vanderslice and Michael's words at a shareholders meeting vs. Kumar...or who visited Round Rock the week before we did? Richard Chu of Cowen...We (our group at the tour) were told by Don Collis that Chu had upgraded DELL to a strong buy due to what he saw here and our capabilities with Convergenet...
I know who I'm bettin' on...Perhaps Kumar should go visit and then comment..

Also discussed was the integration of the cateogry of the "PC" with that of the "Enterprise Division".

i.e., it was difficult from Dell's perspective how to define the two relative to category; specifically when looking at large corporations

IDC and Dataquest are also having the same problem. They just recently "redefined" their PC and Enterprise categories. By redefining the PC they effectively lowered the percentage growth rate of that sector for Dell as items formerly considered "PC" were shoved into "Enterprise".

Why didn't IDC and Dataquest make there redefinition more public?

(ps kumar's comment on Convergenet bordered on stupid compared to what Dell demonstrated at the ASM)
