What is terrible about today is that pretty much everyone out there KNOWS that this company is going to be IT. It's just that they've now decided to negociate the price. That is the price at which they are willing to accept the risk that the execution will take longer than the company would have us believe.

Notice we've been given the Apple moniker? Remember how for YEARS every time Apple computer was mentioned in the press they used the words, "beleagered" or "troubled" right before the company name....we've got it now.

I think that the shareholders should just take to spitting on the ground after they say the words @Home.

If you mean that individual investors are writing naked put options, I doubt that. Very few investors are even allowed to write covered calls, much less write naked options. And certainly not the volume mentioned in the article.

Otherwise, I agree, who knows if this isn't some sophisticated hedging strategy vs. a bet that ATHM will go up.
