I think you are missing the point. I think AMD is manufacturing TBird and Duron in good volume (at least I hope so) but is not releasing them into the channel since there is not enough MB. I think AMD is only releasing as many as there is MB available for. This is why TBirds are not available very much.

This quarter will not be nearly as good as it could have been. Duron is already missing out on some of the "back to school" buying. Very sad if you ask me. If AMD warns this quarter, the stock will probably tank a good $40!

I have read so many theories on overriding the multiplier lock that I am confused. Does your multiplier dipswitch actually work?
