EBay tops Q2 estimates --4:43 pm - By Tom Bemis EBay reported second-quarter net income of $13.2 million, or 5 cents a share, excluding one-time items, vs. $5.1 million or 2 cents a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by First Call had expected the company to make 3 cents a share on average. Consolidated net revenues rose 97 percent to $97.4 million. Auctions hosted hit 62.5 million. Gross margins rose to 76 percent from 73 percent the previous quarter.
