I think this latest Register "article" is right next to the 1.5 GHz Wilamette coming for Christmas 1999 in terms of quality and probability of correctness.

I thought you would like to read the following: aceshardware.com

- Yes Sledgehammer is testing at 2.0GHz at the moment, but they are engineering samples.
- Yes Thunderbird has been yielding at 1.5Ghz in low volume.
- Yes Mustang is ready for production and can yield a healthy 2.0Ghz.

Do I have proof? NO! If I did I wouldn't and couldn't show you. Or I could be yanking your leg extremely hard, in which case all this means nothing. You choose!


I wonder if Dell wants any of these.
