Hi Addi,
I just finished listening to the Virata conference call. They are a dynamo that just IPOed last November and are providing hardware and software solutions for DSL for OEMs. Their solutions seem to be grabbing the market and are growing exponentially. Their largest customer is Westell which has a 5166% increase in DSL customer premise equipment compared to last year.

The reason I'm mentioning them is that at their conference call they discussed that their fabrications are through LSI at their Gresham plant. The explosive growth of DSL that is now occurring bodes well for LSI in this one gigantic market alone.

Sounds like this may be a buying opportunity for LSI. I'm already into WSTL and VRTA.

All the best,
Michael

(P.S. I bless you Addi every time SUNW reaches new highs.)

Christopher Wolfe is an Equity Strategist for J.P. Morgan Investment Management

If the Fed doesn't hike rates in August, the market will play the economic data game in the early fall

The focus could then turn to earnings, but August will see a big focus on IPO's, liquidity, etc.

The market could end up looking like May's - it could move sideways

In the tech sector, networkers and semiconductors continue to look attractive, as they have reported strong numbers

They sold off in February and March, but strength should continue into next year

Comparisons will be difficult, but company guidance should be a harbinger of future strength

All of this allows investors that have "missed the boat" to get back into stocks that have fallen after strong performance

There's value in property/casualty stocks, too: names like ACL and XL are attractive

His other picks were LSI, ENE, and AXP
