What's to hear ? If intel introduces a pc133 next year, so what ? How is this different than one year ago when they thought about a pc133 for PIII. ? Except that Rambus didn't own SDRAM last july like it does now. It doen't change the rambus story one bit even if rambus didn't own SDRAM and DDR.

I think it speaks to samsung's market advantage in the RDRAM ramp. If Samsung continues to soak the market for excessive profit in rdram, an intel pc133 patch will allow late samsung competitors to ink deals w/ OEM's for rdram supplies. It's a marketing game to get the most profit out of controling limited rdram supplies and still maximizing market growth of rdram, in which samsung has advantage.
