Why are you worried about DDR? News reports indicate that Intel is going with PC133 for Willy.

Yes! On August 1, 2000 millions of brand spanking new DDR desktop PC's will be launched by ALI. They were able to do this because these platforms use DDR which is evolutionary in nature and uses the same DNA as PC100 SDRAM. As a result of these evolutionary characteristics, no Alpha or Beta testing of these platforms is required before product launch.

Because of this new cheap high performance main memory these machines will save users thousands of dollars which they used to spend on RDRAM memory. What's more these computers will run faster and with less latency.

The following week RAMBUS will put ALI and the memory producers on infringement notice. Rambus shareholders will rejoice about the new higher royalty rates. The stock will price will soar and everyone will live happily ever after.
