Why do you think the ramp of this chipset have been so slow? Or has it?

The only piece of information on this subject that I know of is here: realworldtech.com

AMD had reportedly requested 500K chipset for June, but there are reports that the number was more likely 300K or less. July estimates indicate that VIA will again shoot for 500K units shipped.

If true, this would be a major disaster, since AMD is probably producing .9, 1.1 and 1.5 million (or more) Socket A chips in July, August and September.
