Bullrider:
You were wondering about my math.
You stated:
"On 4/17/00 REFR closed at $16. per share. Today it closed at $25.5 per share. I calculate that to be a 59% gain, not 90%."

Actually, Here's how I got my 90% figure...
Bill made his post at 2:31. You will recall that on April 17th, REFR traded between 16 and ~10. It charged up at the end of the day and was trading at 14 when Bill made his post.
Today, I made my post at 2:12. The stock was at 26 7/8 at that time. So from close to close, you are correct, a 59% gain since Bill's declaration of victory. But, from Bill's post to my post, which I assumed was the default measure of a stock's climb after Bill declares the fraud is over, a 91% gain.

As far as products on the shelf...I've got no idea. I don't really follow that company.
