tek,

One clarification. The 'Stub' COMS shares remaining after the PALM distribution are not, in any way, comparable to the QCOM shares we will retain after the QNTC(<gg>) distribution.

Tekflyer:

As a 3Com shareholder, I can attest to the "hand wringing" and "teeth knashing" - 3Com tends to have that effect on its shareholders! I can also attest to the fact that a lot of 3Com shareholders have made a bundle on the PALM spin off, mainly by getting in early with stock and options, and hanging on through all the inevitable bumps in the road. Nine months is a long time!
