Ali,

Why VIA is to blame? I wonder, who was responsible for
AMD-750 chipset and for not delivering the 760 chipset
on-time?

750 chipset is fine. I believe there will even be a motherboard for Socket A that will use the 750 chipset. But 750 is a little dated now. It should have been updated after the 750 was released, and work should have continued on 750 to bring 133 MHz FSB and PC-133 memory support, and some enhancements to the southbridge.

I don't know when 760 was scheduled to be delivered originally. The only date I remember hearing was Q4 2000. 760 is a more ambitions project, so I am not surprised it's taking a while.
