Among the threads which have attracted posters is Subject 34445 . In addition to many insightful contributors the thread regulars ensure that the thread maintains a dry, acerbic, sense of humor, and tend to limit self serving posts. While it is a moderated thread even sheep and dogs are allowed to post, although as the name implies Clowns will probably be more comfortable elsewhere. The contributors to the thread are very prolific, providing 300 or so posts a day of stream of consciousness observations about the financial markets and human foibles which make them interesting. The volume of posts is sometimes a problem for me during the trading day. Loosing money requires my full attention most days so I am only able to check SI once or twice during the day. Every once in a while something will happen in the market and I am interested in seeing other peoples perspective. The volume of posts can make it difficult to get the information I might be looking for. I don't think anyone is "banned" from this thread anymore. I will, and I hope the other posters, continue to post informative information, resources, and Market Direction analytical material here. I feel more comfortable posting my opinions concerning the dominant themes of our time (greed, fear and lust) on CLOWN FREE ZONE. While you are free to lurke there you will have to make your own decision concerning how constructive it is for you. BTW - IMO If you choose to post on that thread, while you are free to use the closing salutation Respectfully, you don't have to. I could be over ruled on that though.
