What, seventh inning stretch time even though we are getting our asses kicked by EVERYONE, including Mom and Pop John Doe and our own CEO?ATHM grows while WS fiddles and we fiddle while ATHM grows. Nothing wrong with that. Hey, I am holding...way more then I ever imagined I would be holding a year ago...or six months ago...or even three months ago. My truck is loaded and now we're all paying higher gas prices. Is ATHM still executing...more then its shareholders? Yeah, I think so, to a degree. I know Cox is still backlogged locally. I hear they are in San Francisco as well. Yet some worry that penetration is weak in markets they might be able to service well...this would be horrible if true, that installation rate has caught or surpassed the demand in some markets. Does anyone know? Still a lotta pupoa on my part. Probably will be until (1) Bell seriously takes control, resigns or is fired and is replaced by someone with 'The Right Stuff',(2) they announce a surprise regarding huge increase in subs, along with how they do this and how they are gonna increase future quarterly gain, (3) they elucidate a clear definitive plan and it is greeted with praise on the street, (4) they are honest with their forward statements regarding expectations for future quarter growth and projections, (5) some surprise announcement catches all off guard and catapults the stock to glory, (6)hopefully NOT until hell freezes over first. Right now I'd almost be happy with stewert, the guy from the trading commercial as CEO, in contrast to what we have, no offense Ah. Forget the jest, currently the situation is bogus. That build out takes time and will take time is a tough sell to a public and street that want instant gratification. Especially when we have a CEO that is exacerbating concerns by appearing lame to accomplish what he states. That ATHM is THE next step to whom many shall bow and pay homage to is a tough sell when those who may bow look at the parents and relatives while knowing the family history. America has grown up living next door to the cable companies. It has not been pretty, lots of 911 calls and municipal intervention. And what has Bell done to quell any concerns? For lord only knows what reasons, he has thrown gas on the fire with is Q1 statements and even his Q2 reiterations. Maybe he thinks he's in a movie and he will be able to write a happy ending to Q3 and it will all be great like in Hollywood. I dunno. They say don't argue with the street. I have not followed this with ATHM. I am holding steady at the wheel but I am cold, wet, hungry and tired. And I have not heard a lot of encouragement and direction from our captain. Excuse my barking, I hope someone reads it from ATHM and it helps in some small way to turn the wheel of reason there. So it goes. There are no sure things in life, though I still believe in my heart ATHM is pretty near...even though we here appear, ever more in the minority. I feel like a Cub fan, ever optimistic, never in the series. I ai'nt go'in no where, yet. Literally...
