Yup, Paul beat you to it.

I failed to exercise my vote to keep him on, as i should have. I certainly did not see his posts as beyond the bounds.

Clearly this thread is clearly imperfect in the way the kicking off was handled.

Perhaps the rough and tumble of the old thwead was better.

Yes Paul has been banned for two weeks. I promised to go by what the thread asks and that is what they did. Imperfect or not, that is the way it is. He was warned FOUR times. I personally voted against his ban but clearly the majority did not.

If either of you think Paul is necessary to keep the contrarian perspective on this board, you are mistaken.

Being respectful to all is not negotiable by most participant. IMO Paul clearly has not been respectful. You may disagree. Paul's contrarion views came at a price where most people did not want to pay.
