Dave, Re: - and I can't find it there.

Your point is well taken. We will all feel better when Circuit City, Best Buy, Dell, GTW, etc. are selling AMD based systems. My main point is that boards for the socket A are here now, available now, and may be purchased now and the MSI at least is everything I hoped to see in terms of performance and stability.

Have you ever considered building your own system? I know it sounds scary but it isn't hard at all. Before February of this year I had never attempted it myself but have found it to be a rather straight forward process if one has a general notion about the operation of a computer. Before February my motto was "if you don't know about the computers buy from those that do". The greatest asset I have when I build a system is I have other components to substitute if something doesn't work. Surprisingly I've never had to do this. Just a thought. Please believe me I'm not trying to toot my own horn here but if I can do it anybody can do it.

If you must buy prebuilt, the wait can't be long. I can understand that choice.

Kindest regards,
CrazyMan

P.S. My sister is getting married in the Zarks this weekend and is selling her house on the lake, boat dock, boat, hot tub and all. Hmmm...
