It does not have to be a Duron full fledged system to sell.. as I have stated.. regular computer stores are selling Duron CPU's and MB's as upgrades. (I've ordered one myself).. I've also seen a couple of these sites selling Duron systems.. or offering the customer a custom build your own Duron system.

You guys seem to underestimate that part of the market.. a major OEM selling a Duron system would be nice for publicity and all.. but I dont think its as disasterous as you and others on here make it out to be. The stock market might not like the absence of OEM's but if AMD is making money off of the "other" market (the largest portion of the market out there I might add - when you combine them all together) I am sure they (AMD) arent too worried about sales.

Besides.. isnt this what happenned with Athlon..? slow acceptance by major OEMS.. slight delays in motherboards? Disaster was predicted back then and it didnt happen.. and I strongly believe AMD is ahead of where they were when Athlon original was first released.
