Clap: No, I haven't... I can...re look at charts of NT and BRCM day of inclusion into S&P ... ALTHOUGH: There are THREE THINGS I'm considering specifically about JDSU RIGHT NOW -- two of which that have nothing to do with NT's and BRCM's specific and extraneous 'circumstances' at the time of their 'induction' into the S&P 500: 1. S&P inclusion, as we've discussed. (All this about JDSU valuation (OVER-valuation) vs. RAD (back to S&P action regarding). 2. Announcement of EXPENSIVE acquisition of SDLI ... very significant to me, anyway. Digestion of the DEC-by-CPQ- style sluggish locomotive. Hasn't recovered yet. Another factor here is competition ... for JDSU while digesting the huge "meal" that is SDLI. Will it be 'dead money?' I think, yes. How long? No idea. 3. JDSU announces earnings tomorrow. I really appreciate all posting on this subject ... I'd buy JDSU in a second outright but am concerned about all these things going on. b-i-a ###
