Perhaps Bill is right when he says a wall will be hit soon. The OI on the futures continues to fall into multy year lows. This has nothing to do with speculators and is the commercials covering their short hedges. The paper market must be starting to reflect a true tightness in the physical market. What has me completely puzzled is the lease rates. They have been falling as of late which indicates no supply tightness. Perhaps these rates are very much under the control of the CB's as Ted has indicated. What the heck is going on? A flat to falling commodity price with shrinking OI is very bullish. If this market was going to get slammed it should be this week.
