I believe that the RAM is ok, as I think that I got PC100 when I bought the computer. I'm running both Motherboard monitor 4.17 and Waterfall 2.1 and they do not indicate a fan or heat problem. I had added an additional fan drawing air out of the front of the case several months ago and it did reduce the heat. I'm showing 96F motherboard now and it seldom gets any warmer.
Perhaps it is the power supply starting to fail.
In any case I'm running ok now but in the SLOW lane (300 instead of 450)
