Hi sandintoes, You guys would not believe where I am right now...
sitting at a 650 TERMINAL internet cafe called easyeverything.com in Amsterdam. I have NEVER seen anything like ths, 650 flat screen monitors mounted on wood panels - it's like a huge public libray with thin counters for the keyboards, about 30 pcs in each row. AND it's 90% full! Simply an amazing site. And they serve food and coffee also. The cost? 2 1/2 guilders or about $1.25 for 90 minutes of DSL web access. AND it's open 24 hours. They are opening one in Times Square in New York City this fall.

When I get back I will load it on a web page for all to see, as a professional photographer shooting for a dutch magazine just climbed a stepladder next to me to shoot the place with a super wide angle lens from above and he let me climb up his ladder to take a few shots of my of my own.

(don't tell levy I said this but boy, was he hot <ggg>)

I'll be in Amsterdam for 4 more days and then a day in Brussels before taking the high speed Thalys train back to Paris to fly home. Glad I don't have reservations on the Concord...although I'm am flying the friendly skies on Air France. Picked them because they had a great safety record, uh huh.

Later, and gnet looks great above 60! Susan
