We believe that initial customer shipments from this site should commence in early August based on the current status of these qualifications," said Westrick. When asked about customer qualifications on the CC, Westrick said they had two customers who had already qualified and would receive shipments in the next couple weeks, two other significant customers are close to qualifying, and two others are in process. Fiber optics revenues grew from 50% of revenues in Q1 to over 60% in Q1. And were up 16X over the same quarter in 1999. Capital spending will ramp dramatically to meet customer demands. This is their first quarter as a public company and I didn't really know what to expect. However, analysts were impressed and congratulated management on the excellent quarter.
