What is scary is the amount of money they are making by using this loophole. Tell you the truth....they can't lose. They overinflate the stock since they have control of it from day one it's public...then they dump it for an arm of their own company (the loophole) while telling you to buy. Sometimes, these guys sell stock for 100's of dollars per share...that they bought for pennies. The more they do this, the more powerful the become. The more powerful they are, the less powerful you are. It's small retail investors and daytraders that enable them to pull this scam off. Think about that.

That's just my opinion though. As you may have noticed, I don't participate in too many IPOs. I don't care to contribute to their power. I long for the day that Goldman Sachs shells out about 5 billion dollars in cash for IPO stock and winds up being the only one on my level 2 screen on opening day...just Goldman...sitting there picking his nose...no buyers at all..not one. Goldman stuck with 5 billion dollars worth of worthless stock. Wouldn't that just beat all? I know, I'm dreaming. But man...that would be great. A stock that never trades. Or trades for 1/10 it's IPO price right off.
