My average cost is around 7 1/4...

...but I am lowering that cost a lot today. I am buying this stock with both hands now.

This morning IBD published a front page article comparing VISX and SNRS over the last two years. The article didn't discuss the fact that the two products are essentially for different markets, that SNRS was waiting for FDA approval, and that the FDA approval is now in-hand. In summary, a terribly misleading article. Whoever dumped just before the close last night apparently had foreknowledge of this article (IBD has a major leak somewhere).

I didn't hold the stock two years ago, and even though I first looked at it in April 1999, I passed as too risky at the price of 13-14 at that time. I waited and bided my time until SNRS passed the ODP hurdle in January, and sold off to a reasonable risk/reward price in late February. Then I held off until FDA approval was in hand to add to my position.

But now, the price is very attractive, and I am scooping up shares, over 20k today. I don't let my buying be more than a certain fraction of the shares traded in a single day, so I will likely be buying more tomorrow if it is still selling at fire sale prices.

Paul
