I've been giving a lot of financial support lately but sometimes what I think what I really need to do is get in there , roll up my sleeves and cut lumber , give of my time , sweep up clean up, move furniture etc. but I just don't have the time to take away from my business, or my family. Which brings us to the point of sowing and reaping. I have always felt that God is very specific in the sowing and reaping process. You don't sow apple seeds and reap peaches right. Sow compassion reap compassion. Sow your time , reap time. Sow sweat and blood, reap sweat and blood. Sow money reap money. Sow stocks and bonds reap stocks and bonds. For that reason I am very specific in what I sow. If I need more time off I start sowing time into Gods kingdom. If I need more grace I start sowing more grace. If you need stocks and bonds start sowing stocks and bonds. I may be a little off base because God in His wisdom gives us what we need not what we want( most of the time ) but what good father gives his son a rock when the son asks for bread. So by my way of reasoning if I am looking for a particular blessing I sow first and then I specifically ask God for a blessing. EXAMPLE. I go car hunting. I say OK Lord. I want maroon in color, used , with less than 25k miles, cloth interior, cd player v6 engine, overdriven transmission etc. I did the same thing when I was looking for a wife. I said OK Lord 5 foot two, blond hair, born again, loves the Lord as much as I do, good family background, good spiritual background, full lips, whispy hair around the ears, pretty eyes, full figure etc. The lord gave me exactly what I asked for and we have been married 16 years. Reminds me. I need to make a list all our posters birthdays, and anniversaries, I would like to keep track and wish more happiness and longevity in these earthly temples and in marriages........In Christ.gregor,
