That's right. I wouldn't be surprised if 30 million shares were shorted by the arbs. Most arbs are timid creatures - they have stringent risk management, so if their losses hit a certain threshold, they begin to cover. Right now they're getting killed in a big way because of the huge amount of leverage many use.

Actually Mr. Pissant may not have taken his own depressive mental attitude into account as well. Given his manner of equivocating on just about everything he says (it could be bad for a while, then again it could be good) he really strikes me as a morose depressed individual. Then he picks the wrong thing to take a stance on. What a loser. Great contrary indicator, though.
