Yes, I agree teachers do have a major impact:

The legions of State-trained robots -- er, teachers -- droning out the drooling State-approved misinformation and State-programmed pablum does account for much of the mess our country is in today.

Your assumption being that Al Gore fits this "teacher" mold? Excuse me for asking, but where is your evidence??

Al Gore is a complete and total hypocrite for donating a pathetic $353 to charity with the income we provide him! $197,729 isn't a teachers salary. And to link the two is ridiculous nonsense.

Limousine liberals like Al Gore who were given a silver spoon since childhood and who also want to suck the life energy out of hard working middle Americans are a national disgrace! Furthermore, Americans, such as yourself, who would defend a person making 197,729 dollars and gives only $353.00 to charity are an even bigger disgrace.

My goodness, the guy makes nearly 200 grand and can only find the heart to give 353.00 dollars to the thousands of needy organizations doing good work around the country! C'mon! Get real, the guy is a slum Lord limousine liberal fraud.
