I don't know. Six billion from Intel to increase capacity? I think it's a given that supply will eventually catch up with demand. It's simply a question of when.

No doubt about it, AMD (and any other chip maker) will need to sell all they can make, even if the prices have to be lowered to break-even levels. Perhaps this is the "price war" doomsday scenario that Joe Osha was talking about.
