Dave, I used to hate Rodgers when his ego was as big as the great outdoors. He took credit for turning CY around when it was really just the chip cycle that did it. But when chips turned south again, it was everyone else's fault but his. He is also reputed to be one of the nation's nastiest bosses to work for, which I don't doubt at all. However, I suspect the chip cycle has made him a bit humbler than he was when I was buying puts on CY taking it down to single digits.

In general, the basic business in flash and SRAM is pretty good, though I don't expect that to last long. This new acquisition looks interesting and may be a good move for CY.

I don't know anything about Rodger's politics. I always assume guys like him are right wingers, but that isn't necessarily so. There are plenty of jackasses on the liberal side, too.
