so do you have any ideas on what they might be planning on doing with [the proceeds from the Spinco IPO]? If they were to do a take over of a complimentary technology company, where might they go?

They might use cash for a minority stake in a company but my guess is that they would use stock to outright take over a company. Since I don't know what they plan for the $2 billion in liquid assets they currently have, I can't imagine what their plans might be for the additional $1 - $2 billion generated by the spin-off.
