LSI Logic reported revenue growth of 29% YoY to $644,
which was $29 million (or 4%) below our estimate. The
company indicated that about $20 million of revenues
slipped from June into early July due to shortages of parts
such as capacitors
.

Your logic would make sense if the wireless industry was going to fold up by the end of 2000. Actually, there will be a turnover in handsets due to new technologies like GSM in the US; G3 technology, etc. and there are still people who do not use wireless devices of any sort who will.

So capacitor oversupply? It's not going to happen.

Anyway, KEM is coming back as we speak!
