MB,

I would like to watch this one between EFNT and WSTL. I think that the market share can be approximated using the dslreports website. dslreports.com My theory is that if company A has 75% of the market share then 75% of the posts will come from people using the modems of that same company. Makes sense right? I'm sure that data is statistically representative of the current market share distributions. At first glance I noticed that EFNT had the edge. The thing to do now is watch the changing numbers every once in awhile to see if one company gains or looses statistical ground.

I just wish I had more time to do the proper analysis for all players. Unfortunately I have to work for living. For the record I am sizably long WSTL myself.

Hey have you seen the poster BOBO over on the AWRE thread? He is putting up some pretty bearish material about royalties and such not increasing (flat actually) inline with deployments. He says he is short.

At the same time others are posting analysts comments about Alcatel bowing out of chip production and insinuating ADI/Awre would inherit part if not ALL the business. Things can sure flow thick over at that thread.
