QCOM saves face. And it gets it way as well. Saving face is incidental.

wmalloy, Garrett. Please read what I post. I never said Spinco was not created to save Qualcomm's face. I responded to another post, saying it isn't being created to help Nokia save its face. I quote myself:

"I don't think allowing NOK to save face has anything to do with the spinoff."

I do not think the whole story has been told. The true machinations underlying the spinoff may reveal themnselves in the future. I, for one, am going to peruse the S-1 very carefully.
