I can see how SSB has arrived at their forward look-I just believe that their assumptions are erroneous pertaining to revenues for Q4 and 2001. LSI is seeing more visibility going forward, hence the acceleration of capacity at Gresham. This is very bullish for next year's earnings and reinforces the earlier premise that LSI would be a big winner in 2001 because of the investment in Gresham. The CDMA news was not deep in content but certainly positive in terms of progress. I bought more today and will load up if the price goes below 30. (In this market anything is possible)

They kept 2000 numbers the same, reduced 2001 by $.03 but reduced the target price fom 70 to 40. Nonsense. I am convinced that the major brokerage firms are playing games with every stock that they can in an effort to buy on the cheap for long-term growth.

LSI is a steal at $32.
