I don't see the President's opposition to the Vietnam War as a slap in the face to ALL War Veterans, nor to anyone who chooses to make a career in the Armed Forces. I would not want to make a sweeping generalization here. Communism was basically destroyed because that system was proven to be evil and the enemy of Human Freedom.
