OT/ Bush pick of Chaney guarantee Gore victory. And its not going to be all that close. Womens vote thrown away. Republican ticket looks upside down. Chaneys Congress record to the right of everyone. Against even the most benign gun control etc. He was in effect Secy of war and we won so there is good feeling there but most goes to powell not him. Papa Bush told sonny what to do. Thats the way it appears. And they are cocky to boot. They think these early polls mean something. They dont. ALL this rant JIMHO--I had an LSI kind of day so pardon the stridency. BTW I am a conservative on most issues and not happy that Gore is going to win. I dislike Gore but will hold my nose and vote against The Aristocracy. Sonny needed McCain like kennedy needed johnson in the exact same circumstances. Kennedy knew you have to win the election before you can govern. Bush takes that for granted just like dad did in second race.
