I saw the post calling for a vote on Paul's banning and abstained from voting at the time. However I think that several thread participants did not see the message.

After Paul was banned news of that event was put in a modified original thread message.

Next time we are in a position to hold a vote I propose that the notification of that pending vote be included in the original thread message at that time.

That way no one would miss a lone call for votes in a flood of other posts but would have a set place to check on significant thread events (votings).

There isn't a limit to how many modifications can be made is there? If not then if the bannings are to be listed there then I think the votes should be too as well as the results of those votes and also a list of who voted and which way.

I agree wholeheartedly that the results of each vote by each person should be public to the thread. I think that the accused has a right to know his accusers.
