The market is subject to emotional swings based on fear and greed. The market itself is now immersed in one of those irrational bouts of fear. HDD has already announced bad news but things may not be nearly so bad for MXTR. Why throw the baby out with the bath water when the bottom on the Nasdaq is probably no more than 3800 anyway?

I don't think we are that many months away from lower interest rates. Look at the oil stocks today? The whole sector is getting clobbered. Prices are coming down on oil and we'll see one of the areas that has appeared to be responsible for inflation turn the other way soon. The best thing I have learned in my years of making monumental investment mistakes is to invest with as little emotion as possible. I was buying WDC and MXTR before I even read why they were sold off so bad.

Translation: I am buying these stocks now because I don't think any of the potential good news is factored in here at all. I'm not all that worried about the bad news because so much of it is already factored in as of today.

Just my opinion, RTS
