Jammon,Zapper,Lanoles, Chito2, and even Andrewmsmith and others,
I just returned from the Las Vegas Agratech exibition at the Riviera
Hotel. Talked at length with C.E. Meyer, a technical supervisor, about
the SBS unit on display. Very nice gentleman, presented himself in a
professional manner, and was ready to answer questions "all day" if
necessary. Several employees on hand, and I must admit the Loch
Harris booth had the most "action", in turn of interested observers at
their site, while I was there. I know for many of the "naysayers" and
bashers this will be construed as hyping, but if this company is a scam,
they have hired alot of actors that can act, prepared these people very
well about this technology, and could probably sell some "ocean front"
property in Texas to even DSP and Gewiz. The units cost between
$10,000-13,000 and can be delivered in approximately 10 "working
days". Comparing wind to sun in the arid Rio Grande area of Texas, Mr.
Meyer noted that "wind days" number 40-60%, versus "sun days"
75-90%. A smaller design, which will cost less, but usable only up to
200 ft. is close to completion. I have been an investor of Loch Harris for
4+ years, and I was impressed and proud to be a stockholder as I
walked out of the convention center. I hope some other stock holders
can view the exibition to help erase any doubt that this company is
some kind of a scam. Also, Mr. Meyer noted that the solar pumps were
"the hit of the show" at the Texas and Southwest Cattle Ranchers
Association meeting recently. He said they gave out over 500
brochures to interested ranchers. I hope this "eases a little anxiety" to
some, because it sure did with me. I know they will sell these units in
volume, and I definately plan to buy one myself when I return to Puerto
Rico on a fulltime basis. Closer.
