TyCom Ltd. IPO Priced at $32 Per Share
Company to Trade on New York and Bermuda Exchanges Under Symbol TCM
PEMBROKE, Bermuda, July 26 /CNW/ -- TyCom Ltd. today announced that its initial public offering of 61,130,435 shares of common stock was priced at US$32 per share. The shares are expected to be listed tomorrow on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol TCM. Trading will begin next week on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
In addition to the approximately 61 million common shares being issued, TyCom may issue up to an additional 9,169,565 common shares if the underwriters exercise their over-allotment option in full. Net proceeds from the offering are expected to be approximately $1.9 billion.

After the offering, TyCom will have 511,130,435 common shares outstanding, excluding the over-allotment option. TyCom's parent company, Tyco International Ltd., will retain 450,000,000 shares, or 88 percent.

Joint book running managers for the offering are Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Salomon Smith Barney, with Merrill Lynch & Co. as joint lead manager.
