Hello Robert,

Yeah, the explosion did happen a while back but the impact of a hydroxylamine shortage has not been widely discussed. I am pretty sure we're going to hear more about this in the coming weeks. From what I understand Semiconductor International is planning to do an article in an upcoming issue.

There are alternatives being developed (ATMI provides one) but hydroxylamine is the best at going after metals and all those other nasty materials that need to be removed during the removal process.
