james, i think you are only buying amzn for the certificate later (hehe)...you can buy less than a round lot for that purpose ! surely you jest that this cat has a life or two left ?

Amzn is a 4th Qtr stock...

Largely because the Nasdaq has been a "4th quarter market" the past couple of years.

Trust me.

Tidbit: Shareholder equity is now shareholder deficit. Basically that means Amazon is now losing someone else's money. They're not going to get away with that for long. Profitability may be possible, but if it comes at the cost of growth, investors might feel restraints on their enthusiasm.
