Great comments. I just finished listening to the Radio Wall Street interview with IJ (suggest you do the same) and at the beginning he mentions companies that have dragged their feet in licensing and although he does not come straight out and say it I do believe that they have just upped the ante for this poker game. I think the patents assigned to spinco are theirs and companies must deal with them for these patents if not already licensed for them as well as dealing with Q for other essential patents.

I'm still fuzzy on how this will work out as far as any patent pool but I think this will depend on deals made by spinco.
