Charles, I agree with you and Ted, many factors contributing. The CC did suck. steve, As you know the stocks in the SOXX are really diverse....some focus on on pc chips, others telecom, still others flash etc.......so if you look at their charts, it would be hard not to agree that, with few exceptions, most have floundered, like you posted, since March and others like AMD since May? And if you agree, what's the commonality among all these chips stocks.....I think that its the economy is slowing and their prospects are dimming. This is the street's consensus in spite of many bullish earnings' reports. BTW I think the street will get over it sometime this fall. :~)) ted
