Lizzie,
Thanks for stopping by. I follow you around on your interlopings as well. One chart view looks very ominous for WEBM and I did see that the float was tiny compared to the outstanding shares. I didn't know about the lockup expiring though. The market conditions are looking pretty scary right now anyway.

If you read the NT earnings report and specifically the part where they guide estimates higher, you should be able to apply to other obvious members of that sector.

Demand for optics and DSL outpacing the ability for vendors to provide to end users. Systems and component vendors should be strong for 18 months.

Infrastructure buildout is still very healthy.

I am playing MRVC right now, but will likely be selling calls against my position ahead of earnings. Also have JDSU which is a LTB&H....that could mean 2 days or 2 months for me.

I bought FLEX at the end of the day....lucky for me that they beat estimates and announced a split. They should get at least one more bump when another of their big customers announces earnings.

Otherwise....short or puts on some biotechs like CRA or PDLI on a rally could be good.

>>So I'm just going to hold onto the little sofware I have and not buy more until conditions improve and some of the real overblown ones like Sebl I might just short, believe it or not.<<

Hi Lizzie,

Nice to see you over here. Be sure to let us know when you think the software space is "safe" to enter. I like your WEBM pick too, but I agree with you that it has a ways to go on the downside. I hope once the lock up has expired, we should have a better grasp of how the stock will trade.

I'm thinking about adding some oil co's to my portfolio in this environment. Of course that assumes a Bush election and we really don't want to go there! LOL...
