Spytrdr,

Your valuation example truly is mind-boggling.

"didn't you guys have the sensation today that we were sitting at a roulette table in Las Vegas?? i did."

Today? Just today? I have had that sensation for the last year and a half. Seems sometimes that the worse off a company is the easier it is to sell a dream and keep the hunk of junk propped up. Meanwhile real companies, with real futures, real products, and real sales mass are being priced as if they will die on the vine.

I have no idea who chases that type junk successfully day after day. Well actually I do, but I won't name them. This whole last week has been mutual fund madness at its worst. I surmise that a lot of the selling has to do with JDSU entering the S&P 500 index. Money had to flow out of other stocks to make up the difference in JDSU valuation and RAD valuation.

Index Fund madness at its best. Buy a required stock at any price. Sell a required stock at any price. Adjust all others at any price. Value is ignored. What a concept?

i know i'm a broken record on this, but the undervaluation is mind-boggling.

You are right on both points but I have pounded the table on CC's salary of 75M for 2 years. This is what you get when you de-motivate a CEO. He doesn't have the same incentive.
