THis is indeed a HUGE ruling for the RIAA

No question they won the battle, but they are going to lose the war. People will find other ways to share files over the net.

Edgar Bronfman was quoted a few months ago saying that if the music industry doesn't find a way to embrace and make money off of digital downloading, it will become extinct.

You sound as if you were one of the disbelieving in the audience to whom he was preaching.

Digital downloading is inevitable, and music stores will be nonexistent in five years.
